About us
youaretennis.com covers men's and women's professional tennis: live ATP and WTA rankings, tournament results and draws, head-to-head comparisons and news, in six languages.
Who signs
The site is run by A. Fausto Giungato, who signs the articles in the News section and is responsible for them.
Where the data comes from
Rankings, results and draws come from a professional sports data provider and are updated automatically every hour. The live ranking adds the points from ongoing tournaments to the official ones, following ATP and WTA rules on expiring points. If you spot a wrong number, write to us: we will check and correct it.
How we write the news
Every article is based on the site's figures and on verifiable journalistic sources, listed at the bottom of the piece. Quotes are only those actually said, with their source. Drafts may be prepared with automated writing tools: every article is reviewed and approved before publication, and corrections are made in the text, flagged when they change its meaning.
Images
We use photos whose licence allows reuse (for example Creative Commons images from Wikimedia Commons), with author, licence and changes credited below the article.
